Franco Albini (1905–1977) was a pivotal Italian Neo-Rationalist architect and furniture designer known for merging traditional artisanal craftsmanship with modern minimalism. A master of "aerial sensibility," he created elegant, functional pieces often featuring slender metal frames, raw materials like rattan, and suspended structures. Iconic works include the Margherita chair, Cicognino table, and the Luisa chair, which won a Compasso d'Oro. His architectural work includes Milan Metro stations and revolutionary museum designs, focusing on pure form, structural transparency, and elegant efficiency
